When you barely post a video where you worked very hard on it, just one hour after the post you got 35% of dislikes from the viewers.
Me, I think disliking is pointless (edit:unless if they are justified.....), like stupid commenters saying "First comment"
About youtube, there should be only a like/faving button.
Like that, if you don't like a video, just shut your trap and don't watch.
There's not need to wreck the mental of the person who worked so hard for making a video and having people who thinks it's very intellingent to bomb a dislike for fun.
With that, that's what I think.

I do not like the Dislike option. It shouldn't even be there because it encourages people to be rude, mean, arrogant, and flame others. I think I've complained to YouTube about it, but no results. They also should give you an option to report flames and other attacks on videos and in comments because there are so many rude and mean comments.
